Somebody kicked you in the teeth and then tried to make up with you afterwards. Smashing Pumpkins does Blue Oyster Cult. Alternative rock with a haircut. A modern Pink Floyd. Or if you're too dim to handle those comparisons: Coheed and Cambria, Three.
"It's like if the Smashing Pumpkins were trying to play Pink Floyd." That's how you describe The Hostage. Or to put it more clearly: The Hostage is an alternative rock band and makes no apologies for it. But it couples the spirit of alternative rock from the with the epic sounds of the 70s. It's a unique sound but an approachable one - something you've never heard but that faintly resembles a memory. Take two songs with water and call us in the morning.
Please take the downloadable songs and burn them, give them to your friends, submit them to radio stations, shoot skeet with them, or whatever else you want! Whatever it takes to get the word out -- The Hostage will be silent no longer!

well we just played a batlle of the bands at the new daisy and it was a blast, we are trying to find some more shows tp play and going to try to record soon (when we get the money together.) but sounds like everything is going great for yall!
Well, once i get my license ill start going to more shows for SURE! but hannah is busy tonight & can't take me & henderson is the farthest my parents would take me :[ so i sorry! Maybe next time :]
