50 years of Rock"n"Roll The four members of The Hot Dogs! met whilst touring with other bands in Sweden a few years ago. When they were looking for a new challenge, The Hot Dogs were born.
Lead guitarist/vocalist, Tony Skeggs was with The UK's foremost 60's covers band The Overtures. Bassist Chris Grindrod and keyboard player Justin crowe were working all over the world with the number one John Lennon tribute artiste. Together, not surprisingly they play a huge selection songs from the roots of 50s rock 'n' roll and the swinging 60's through to present day rock and pop. They also include some great guitar anthems from more recent decades. A celebration of the last 50 years in music delivered with quality and experience.
The Hot Dogs! A great party band to get your dancing shoes on to or sing along with air guitars an option! -
Hey! How's the weather over there? I just want to let you know that i'm coming to the UK in late May/early June to play bass with Kevin Montgomery and Tommy Allsup. Tommy played guitar with Buddy Holly, and is THE guy that flipped the coin with Ritchie Valens. I figured that with you being a musician that you would really be able to appreciate this show. Kevin made a little video at my studio last week while we were recording....check it out http://myspacetv. com/index. cfm?fuseaction=vids. individual&videoid=34589518
There are a series of shows in England and Scotland....dates are on my myspace.
We won't be doing my material, but it is a really special show, and Tommy is a true rock'n'roll legend.
Anyway, take care and hope to see you there.
