I have to say that playing in this band with these guys was extremely fun...but like many things it eventually fell apart. Fortunately, it had nothing to do with us not getting along, or having artistic differences (I love artistic differences!) or any of that crap. It just sort of derailed...that's how things go sometimes.
However, I would still like to get together sometime in the near future and jam and maybe play some shows. I still want to play these tunes! "Glisten", by the way, is still available by e-mailing this website or getting in touch with me on the street or at shows. Don't worry...if you want it, we'll get it to you!
Until then, and presumably thereafter, I am playing in a new band called The Tisdales out of Duluth, MN. Jason "Kokes" Kokal is in this band, too. Check us out at The Tisdales' MySpace.
Also, if you're in the area (Duluth), stop in and say hi to Patrick at his store, Obscuriosities. His MySpace is on our friends list. Then ask him if he's playing in a band and if so, go check it out. You'll thank yourself.

The HCE was and is the most inspirational experience I've had musically. What started as an idea between my brother, Patrick and I became a great, white dinosaur that has helped me meet some of the coolest people on the planet.
I've fallen in love with the local music scene and had the opportunity to play with big names and small names alike, all inspiring to me. I'm beyond pleased with what I was able to do with the band and I'm very excited to play with them again, hopefully with the HCE. Until then I hope to work on some other projects with Patrick among others. More on that later...
