Formed in the seventeenth dimension, where video married the radio star, the sound of "The Hots" has finally crossed over. To say that it has elements of dance and rock would be like saying Sean Connery has elements of cool and style. This music transcends both narrowly defined classifications and propels the listener into a vortex of spontaneous exhilarated movement that can only be defined as hotastic. Lucky you. "But wait a minute disembodied voice in my head," you may be asking "what about the quiet sensitive types out there?" Not to worry, "The Hots" haven't forgotten our soft hearted friends. At great risk to their own personal safety they occasionally fight the despotic forces of the aforementioned driving sound to bring you melodic moments of moving tenderness. "What bravery" you might say, but wouldn't you, in their position, do the same? Wouldn't we all? They are just the few that this burden falls on, and we, we reap the rewards.
Leading this band of sonic conduits is the incomparable, the unfaltering stalwart, Miss M.J. Cyr whose voice and emotional inflection has made people forget their last name.
Entwining stellar electronic guitar with Miss Cyr's vocals is the man that has been called half wizard/half diviner Mr. Lorne Spence.
Dom Hanlon once ate his entire weight in sushi but now does his part to inject the soul factor into The Hots music.
Lastly but not leastly, the man whose drumming is more solid than frozen water, the man who puts the cool in the Hots, Ben Standage.
The news is here. The future is now. Come get your hot on.
