About House Of Prayer

House Of Prayer began its musical journey nearly 8 years ago. Founding members Joseph Littlejohn and Matthew Hester brought with them flavors of music they each enjoyed from many different venues. They had a desire to birth music into the Church that had never been heard or experienced in "Sunday Morning" settings. The result was their sophomore project "There Is Freedom" which introduced the Body of Christ to a new sound of praise and worship including high energy rock, rap and praise blended with sweeping, melodic, heartfelt worship. Today they are joined by Matthew Kirby on the bass guitar - Jason Krook on the acoustic guitar - and Heather Krook with additional vocals. Their upcoming live release "The Offering" will establish them as artisans of a new breed who extol God intensely and fervently in praise and worship.
