We are The Humanity, everything always gets in our way, and it tries to screw us over, but we dodge our way through it and always manage a good piss up.
We destroy gigs. We destroy other bands. We get to the heart of the matter. People are scared of our intense powers. We are like voodoo but in a more socially acceptable format than those shaman cards you get given in South London tube stations. We think that cigarettes make you pretty. We inhaled the carcasses of pop and indie and spat out the bones into a tidy pile. You don't see that very often in a pub now do you?
we are bored of music by idiots, for the idiots. pop used to be about intelligence, pop used to be about people with ideas, pop used to be everything it's not anymore. what's wrong with writing a tune? what's wrong with having something to say? what's wrong with having read a book? why does pop music have to be the sole preserve of a legion of moronic clones and x factor talent vacuums? fuck them. why does alternative music have to be about a bunch of wannabe barrowboys strumming tatty acoustics in the backrooms? the libertines are dead, get over it. and yr indoors now, take yr scarf off eh? in the season of ill will here's hoping that simon cowell goes the same way as michael stipe didn't. we are better than an army of talentless wannabes. we are just better. full stop. we are the humanity. you are not. find a good tailor. run off without paying. rock and roll is dead. we are better than rock and roll. if yr fed up of being spoon fed celebrity tat, if you want something that can make you believe again, if you want to stove davina mcall's stupidly inane face in with a brick then maybe yr in the right place. if you want a fanzine then yr definitely in the right place. we say wear something that makes you look good, have some gin if you want it, smoking makes you pretty, set fire to a magazine, read a book, spraypaint a wall, burn down a billboard, cut yr neighbour's telephone, always remember that beneath the pavement lies the beach. fuck 2007. fuck the nme. kill yr idols.
We now have a Facebook page."it comes on like a stadium filling bloc party song mixed with the chart potential of the killers." ROUGH TRADE.COM

with grateful thanks to Guided By Spiders for providing us with a totally excellent remix of hollywood. Check out his myspace page. One not to be missed.
"Everytime I hear The Humanity, it reminds me of death from above 1979, except better. The acidic driving bass lines captivate a certain drive as well as chewed out vocals which frankly, make them one of the best new bands out at the moment. I have never quite heard a sound like them, and the questions remains, why the hell aren't these guys signed?! Pure sounds of electronic indie breach every song, like an artist making a painting. These guys are on the edge, noisy, and have essentially what is stream lined perfection. We love them, and we're sure you will too. My advice is to download all their songs, give them a listen, slam them on your MP3, and get to their gigs!"
