"That One Guy" - Lead vocals, bass guitar, drum loops
"The Other Guy" - Rhythm guitar, lead guitar, backing vocals
Influences
Lyrical influences - Horror movies, serial killers, vast amounts of alcohol and sleep deprivation with the occasional 15 hits of acid laced with crushed Pop Rocks washed down with copious amounts of energy drinks.
Musical influences - Mortician, Cannibal Corpse, Macabre, Six Feet Under, Perry Como, The Misfits, Samhain, Cutting Crew, the sound maggots make when they're eating roadkill.
Sounds Like
Stabbing a kitten in the throat with a rusty butter knife.
The Human Monsters was founded one dark and gloomy night in the state with the highest amounts of suicide. Two men, who were simultaneously carrying rotting corpses to the landfill, inadvertently ran into each other. Instead of turning each other in, they made an agreement to begin to play music together and assist each other in the disposal of the bodies. These men, for identity purposes are known as "That One Guy" and "The Other Guy", started to haphazardly play instruments together and finally got the sound they were looking for after "That One Guy", who was in a heroin induced panic attack, accidentally dropped a severed arm on "The Other Guy"'s guitar.
After playing together for well over 23 years, the two men finally decided to record the noises they have worked together on. Since just about every single fucking drummer in the world is a flake, "That One Guy" and "The Other Guy" uncommonly agreed on using a computer since it never talks back and this way all the dead groupies would be split evenly, "That One Guy" gets the top half and "The Other Guy" takes the lower portion. Keep watch for the debut album to be finished sometime late 2008 or early 2009, provided that neither of them O.D. as they are known to do from time to time.
In the meantime, go over to Raginpit Magazine and join our group. It's free to sign up and this way you can let everyone know how much better we are than any other band that you've ever thought of hearing of.
