"Humanized" by The Human Project II is a collection of pumping, catchy southern rock songs. This album rocks the whole way through with driving rhythms, punchy beats and crunchy guitars. The songs are about everything from booze to cars to payin' taxes. The lyrics are creative and well delivered. The sound is raw and very "Live." Highlights are "The Creepers," a slow blues jam with haunting lyrics. This is the only track with a slower pace. "My V8 Ford" will rock you out of your rocker with driving drums and a Rockabilly vibe. "High Anxiety" takes you back to the swampland and delivers a message that will strike a chord with many listeners in regards to skippin' town. If you like good ol' rock and roll you'll enjoy this one.
Loyd Vandergriff is "The Human." He is the heart and soul of the Human Project. He writes the songs, and when he gets ready to record, he gets some friends and goes into the studio to record as..."The Human Project." Loyd got the nickname "The Human" in his younger days and for good reason. Nuff said. His first CD, The Real Stuff was released in June of 2006. Many songs charted very high on many internet sites and sales were and are still good. Very popular overseas. He took some time off, then started writing again, and released Human Project II...Humanized in February of 2008. This new album has been well received internationally and again...at least 5 songs have charted on many different web sites. He is a regular on Mark Kerr's Blues nation out of Lousiana, and Kansas City on line radio. Take some time to listen to the Human's songs. They are unique and well written. Turn it up....get yourself....Humanized.
Loyd currently resides in Clovis, California. He is truelly an independent artist who has personally financed both his CD's and promotes them himself knocking heads with better financed groups or bands. Support this type of music and keep them going by purchasing downloads or even buying the CD.

Putting in long hours for no pay working at this site, it's CD's like Humanized that make it all worth it. This release in one of those rare gems that grabs you at the beginning and doesn't let go. C.W. Ross, IndieMusicstop.com
My great human friend! I'm glad to hear from you too. How's your new song? Have you finished it? I already want to hear it!.. Because I am sure you'll do another big hit. so I must be the first to buy the CD, Right?
Hi Loyd, I understand what you mean about money... but three tracks is great. I have no more band for the time being. It's kind of interesting how this makes me change my habits. Some people consult me for their recordings, I have just finished writing lyrics for a guitarist and I compose more. In fact I am reorganizing everything in my little home studio to be as autonomous as possible. It will take me longer than originally planned but my cd is on its way. I hope you can find solutions too. Your music is great, keep fighting, your friend Marc
