   About The Hurd
The Hurd comprises three musicians - Christine Truman, Steve Lock and Steve Smith - from different backgrounds and an instrumental line up including hurdy-gurdy, bassoon, soprano sax, guitar and recorder.
The Hurd
has forged a unique sound that ranges from the sweetly tender to the positively raucous.

Yeh I've played better gigs LOL, never mind these things happen, glad I met you guys though, I doubt I would have seen anything like that normally.

I'll keep you posted about the band line up and when we will be let loose on stage as a full band, with backing vocals and everything LOL

Thanks for opening for us at Cambridge Folk Club - it was a great evening. Glad to see you have joined Myspace!
Roy's pictures turned out really well didn't they(they always do)! He does brilliant CD design too.
Love the ambiance of the recordings.
