Fusing the sounds of many different genres, The Hybrid has created a sound that they can call their own. Captivated by thinking outside of the box and avoiding the expected is what fuels every note pushed out of their songs. Formed in June 2006, the band’s infectious sound has already acquired a following in their hometown, which continues to grow rapidly. The band consists of Bryant Thierwechter on vocals & guitar, David Hoover on drums, and Tyler Mickley on bass. All are residents of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania where they have remained a tight knit unit throughout the years. Many musicians have come and gone, but Thierwechter, Hoover, and Mickley have remained the original line up. While wielding an exciting and adrenaline infused live show, they don’t sacrifice good sound for theatrics. As well as being an exciting live act they are very recording savvy and self-sufficient. The Hybrid has engineered, mixed, and produced all of their music. In February 2007 The Hybrid released a five song EP. In July 2009 The Hybrid released an 11 song studio album recorded at Wrightway Studios. The Hybrid hopes that with their creative abilities and off beat methods that they can spread their ideas and music to the world over.
