After many years of loitering about in alleyways and searching for anything loud and underground four discontented feral youths decided to make a different noise in the steel city and flea bitten punk rock was born!
The Hyenas (a name that encapsulates all the attributes of the band) started out in 2005 and proved to the people of Sheffield that noise is good! A fifth feral hyena (Ralph) joined the pack after only two shows and has never looked back. The last few years have been very eventful and gigs plentiful and this year the rabble plan to take their shopping trolley fill it with all they have and tour the U.K
The Hyenas will play for traveling money (you get through a lot of boots pushing a trolley about) and beer or rum or both! Also a place to lay there sweaty heads is always a bonus!
Keep it flea bitten!

Ahman, it was so fucking good! I have never seen the pub like that. Riot squad were amazing! UK subs were proper good too. I want to get that place to be a decent venue for punk, cos it worked so well.
