The game needs it's rules changed, and Hypa-Link(Born Jason Guild) has been created to do just that. With all the dumbed down lyrics and negative messages emitted in today's music, he feels that can show how to eradicate both, while still making good music. Along with fellow Chicago artists who are all making great strides and bringing back real Hip-Hop(Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco, Twista, Common, GemStones, Rhymefest, Vakill, etc), Hypa-Link feels that they can not only resuscitate rap music, but put Chicago and all of the Midwest on the pedestal that the East & West Coasts have all had a taste of. Except of course, on a higher one. ;) My journey to the very best, has just begun.
Page and audio STILL under construction! Don't worry, when I get serious, y'all will know. I'ma light the world on fire. ;)
Hey hows it going? I'm just comin through to show you a little love hoping everything is all gravy with you and I also wanted to let you know about something I thought you'd find interesting. I'm a young hip-hop artist that's just doing music because I like to and I've put together a nice little mixtape that I'm giving away for FREE DOWNLOAD called "In My Zone." There are a few singles on my page you can listen to that have been getting good feedback. There's one called "Birthday Suit" ft. YQ (a song for all my lovely ladies on a Grown an Sexy hype) and another called "I'm Gone Shine" (a street single type song that's gotten a load of positive feedback). So if you have the time and want to hear what I'm working with then drop by my page and take a look!
If you like the music let me know and if you or someone you know is envolved with setting up social events and would to see a new artist with a polished sound preform somewhere let me know!
