   About Iberian Archive
Iberian Archive is a 60's covers band (1560's!). We specialise in repertoire from the 16th and 17th centuries, and perform on reproductions of instruments popular at the time of the Renaissance. Formed in 2006, Iberian Archive have been featured artists in London’s music and fashion festival City Showcase, and have performed at numerous concert venues around the UK, including a collaborative performance with New Renaissance Voices at Southwark Cathedral. During the forthcoming year Iberian Archive are performing El Viage (The Journey) which is a project inspired by the pilgrimage of Francisco Guerrero from Venice to Jerusalem in 1589. On his journey Guerrero, musician and composer, encountered many wonders, changing landscapes and a few French pirates! Our programme reflects his experiences and is drawn from Italy, Spain and the Middle East. Iberian Archive also present mixed programmes which include folk inspired music of the 17th and 18th century. For further information please contact Bridget Cunningham on bcunningham@rcm.ac.uk
