Jelani and Sahaan have both been influenced by numerous musical performers and emcees. The number of those that have influenced us is to numerous to count.
The iccsters were formed in 2000 by Chris Robinson, Jelani Greenidge, and Sahaan McKelvey. The crew was formed as a response to a call from the mens ministry at Irvington Covenant Church. Chris soon left the group due to personal reasons but remains friends with all of the members. The iccsters now consist of Jelani Greenidge (aka G-Natural), and Sahaan McKelvey (aka Sir-1). Sahaan and Jelani are both employed in ministry at Irvington Covenant Church. Jelani is the Worship leader and Sahaan is the youth Pastor. The crew seeks to create hip-hop music that is an extension of their love and worship for Jesus Christ. This is not "grey area" rap music. if you listen to our material then you will know that we are unashamed followers of Jesus.
