The Idols of the Tribe is about creating a reflection of society through the use of image and sound. It is an attempt to explore society’s sociopolitical and personal boundaries through music, visual art, and poetry using the recording studio as a laboratory and the Internet as a means of distribution. It consists of a revolving group of writers, graphic artists, and musicians, all collaborating outside the restricting confines of a ‘band’ with the intent of throwing out all written and unwritten rules applied to today’s music.
