Formada em 2008 The Imperial Betrayer é uma banda de Brutal Deathcore de Ipatinga-MG (Brasil), a banda traz a agressividade do Death Metal mesclando passagens de Hardcore com vocais e guitarras pesadas, bateria pulsante e agressiva. Com Madson Veiga no vocal, Rafael e Douglas (2008-2009) na guitarra, Bruno na bateria e Rangell no baixo, no segundo semestre de 2008 The Imperial Betrayer foi a grande campeã do Festival Jovens Bandas no Vale do Aço concorrendo com outras 43 bandas de diversos estilos musicais. Considerada até hoje a banda mais extrema a vencer uma edição do festival. Em 2009 o guitarrista Douglas deixa a banda, e a partir daí entra para o time Kffir Aly. Em 2010 a banda lançou seu primeiro álbum entitulado “The Harvest”, contendo 10 faixas, lançando também o vídeo promo da música ‘‘Blood Carpet’’. Ainda em 2010 Madson deixa a banda por motivos pessoais e Deyvison assume os vocais com altíssima competência, trazendo também agressividade e profissionalismo ao som e shows da banda. Em 2011 a banda continuará a divulgar o “The Harvest” e iniciará a pré produção de seu segundo álbum que será gravado em 2012, este ainda sem selo.

The Imperial Betrayer is a Brutal Deathcore band formed in 2008, from Ipatinga-MG [Brazil]. It brings aggressiveness of Death Metal mixing some elements of Hardcore , heavy vocal and guitars as well as pulsating and aggressive drums. The band had Madson Veiga (vocals), Rafael and Douglas [2008-2009] (guitars), Bruno (drums), and Rangell (Bass). At the second half of 2008, The Imperial Betrayer was the great champion of the festival ''Jovens Bandas'' in ''Vale Do Aço'', competing with other 43 bands of many different music styles, being considered, until now, the most extreme band that has won the festival. In 2009, the guitarist Douglas left the band, and Kffir Aly assumed the guitar. In 2010 the band released their first album titled "The Harvest", containing 10 tracks, also releasing the Promo Video for the song ''Blood Carpet''. Also in 2010, Madson left the band for personal reasons and Deyvison took over the vocals with high ability, bringing also aggressiveness and professionalism to the sound and the band's gigs. In 2011 the band continues to spread "The Harvest" album and will also start the pre production of their second album, to be recorded in 2012, without a label yet.
