"Fans of sunny, vocals-oriented pop along the lines of Ben Harper might well find the band quite appealing." - Pittsburgh City Paper
"Given the group's acknowledgment of influences by The Beatles and Bob Dylan, you could delight in similar, young innocence along with a gentle, danceable bounce and suggestions of country music... You'll be inclined to share the pleasure. It sounds as if The Incline has made the grade." - Pittsburgh Magazine
"Road to Home... an enjoyable listen by a talented local outfit
that figures to do the ’Burgh proud." - The Daily News
The Incline, started by two brothers, Marc and Brad Schneider, have been giving the Pittsburgh music scene a fresh taste of original songwriting and musicianship for over two years. Marc studied recording arts at Full Sail University and now independently engineers, produces, and mixes all of their music. They attribute their 21st century folk-rock-pop style to artists such as Bob Dylan, The Beatles, and Ben Harper. In addition to their first E.P., SchmarxTown Melodies, The Incline has released their 14 song debut full-length album, Road To Home on May 1st, 2009.
Ha! That's the exact reaction we were going for! Good old Full Sail hooked us up. I love that we are probably the most diverse band buddies in the world. Total opposite ends of the musical spectrum, but it's all the same if its good. I hope some of your page viewers decided to give it a chance. Keep it interesting! -jason

Watch for special guests and a very memorable night at The Rex Theater, 1602 East Carson Street. Pittsburgh, PA 15203. 8pm. $10.
