The Incorrigibles formed in 2006 when long time friends John, Ryan, Robert and David decided it was time. Basically, the music is pieced together out of David’s solo material and covers that the band feels strongly represent their greatest influences. John brings his rockabilly/roots country experience to the sound that the band is constantly forming. He currently plays with another group, The Gulley Jimson Quartet. After playing guitar his whole life, Ryan has jumped to bass to help out. Like the other members of The Incorrigibles, his prior experience has gotten this project off the ground. Robert Sledz rounds out the band on the sticks. His drumming was a driving force behind the punk band Five-O with John and Ryan in previous times.
When asked to describe our music, my favorite answer is rock’n roll. But for those who might not understand what we mean by that, you have to look at David’s two main songwriter influences. They are Noel Gallagher of Oasis and Tom Petty. Basically.... if Neil Young was British and somehow still 25 years old he would sound like us. Something messed up like that. Get it?
