ISB!!! What up homeys! Sounding great in those Chomp&Stomp vids!! WOW! Looks like you got some cool stuff happening on the calendar too! Glad to see that! I need to come up to one of those five spot shows, I hear they're a lotta fun. Hope all's well. Patrick-
The Sledge Grits Band Have a great Monday afternoon! Keiko lead guitarist (I come with 6 strings, too! thinner strings though-) Kariel bassist (I come with 4-5 strings, depending on the day?) Mimi lead vocalist, 2nd guitar ( I come prepackaged with 6 strings and real working kung-fu chops!) Bo-pah drummer (i drum. )
Do you know something funny I just discovered last night ... Andrew Bird and I share the same birthday. Which means, if there is any order at all in the universe, Bird must listen to Prine! EUREKA!!!
Howdy, thanks for the add. Love that incorrigibly olden sound! And an interesting flux of influences: Andrew Bird and John Prine ... that's just weird. I mean, I love both of them (Prine all my life and Bird for like the past year and a half or so) but they're strange bedfellows, you must admit. Still, that's what having your own band is all about, right? -- mixing disparate influences.
Looking forward to hearing yall. That's a powerful lineup of musicians on that list! I'm gonna fast for two days so I can eat as much chili as possible with yall and the Nashvillian FAmily Band.
