The Independent (nee DuPrees) has been a fixture among in-town pool halls for 17 years. Winner of Creative Loafings Best Pool Hall in Atlanta as recently as 2003 and 2002, The Indy has set itself apart from your run of the mill midtown establishment. We feature 8 regulation-size pool tables, 2 dart boards, a fully stocked bar including 40+ beers, an extensive menu, video game consoles (Atari, SNES, N64, PSOne, a 2-player table top arcade machine, and Megatouch boxes), board games galore, and FREE WIFI.
We also host APA pool leagues on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so if team competition is your thing, we got it! If you like to fly solo, we have free pool tournaments every Thursday @ 8pm (prizes include bar cash and other goodies). Also for bar cash and goodies, we have free Texas Hold Em Tourneys every Sunday @ 6pm (brought to you by PYMPS). You a dart player? We have leagues on Mondays (Inner City Dart League) and Wednesdays (Buckhead Dart League). If those aint your thing, then just come on up and drink til we tell you to leave.
