How it all works
1. Whilst we do sell demos at the Indie
Club at present, it is becoming very clear that cds should
be finished product ie: of saleable quality with covers and a disc
that has printing on it and in a standard jewel case (sorry no slim
line cases please). Presentation is everything, quite often people
don't know what the music is like and are judging their purchase on
how they look. It is almost impossible to sell a disc that has no
cover and just the name of the band scrawled on the cd in felt pen.
2. Joining the Indie Club Shop is FREE.
3. To begin with, send us 5x copies of your CD. When we require more
stock we will buy eps for NZ$6 and albums for NZ$10 from you. These
prices are reflective of the Indie Club
pricing structure.
4. We also need a bio and pic so we can build your page. If you have
your own website or a myspace site, please send through links so that
we can add those as well.
5. You will also need to supply us with your contact details ie:
contact person, postal adress, email, phone number etc. This is so
that we can contact you.
6. An account will be set up for you. You will need to let us know
how you would like to be paid ie: direct into your bank account, cheque,
paypal etc. Payments will be made on a monthly basis at the end of
each month.
7. Checklist: Send 5x copies of your cd (stock will be held on sale
or return), include a bio and a pic we can use. Supply your contact
details and the method of how you would like to be paid.
