Electrik Groove Records created the first ever independent radio showcase that put artists in charge and guaranteed national radio airplay. "The Indie Edge Radio Showcase" aired on 99.5 FM KKLA Los Angeles reaching 14 million people in five Southern California counties, KEFX "Effect Radio Network" transmitting to over 200 cities nationwide, northern Nevada's KRNG "Renegade Radio" 101.3 FM and also (24/7) to the world on Christian Indie - Internet Radio powerhouse "The Spirit Radio". Other stations included: Rebourne Radio, Under Truth Radio, BigLoo Christian Radio, Podcast Media, High Desert Christian Radio, iTunes and other FM stations across the country.
The Indie Edge Radio Showcase aired "Featured Artists' Spotlights" of 7 minutes each and was only for unsigned artists looking to build their story. Within each 7 minute segment the show host, Zoe Lexis, opened with a short monologue introducing the artist, proceeded into a live phone interview with the artist and then finished with the artist's song(s) of choice.
