The IND was formed in Tulsa, OK, late 2006, upon recognizing its members' at-that-time effortlessly cohesive nature to create soundscapes worth a second listen. Upon this discovery and through repeated sluggish recording sessions, interest grew on the parts of MATTY, BASE and JAMES to "make noise" on a regular basis. They eventually acquired more useful instruments, such as synthesizers and drums.-^-^-^-^-^-^-^- This is an endeavor like so many others, yet INDisputably different.-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-
Most of the tracks we post on MySpace are either bourne of jam sessions, with no prior rehersal, or are rough versions of songs we are currently polishing, as in refining and/ or adding the finishing touches to....not as in, "dave is polish". = play it loud and ENJOI!-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-
**FS** is the noise that is created from the dynamic duo of MATTY and BASE. It is a project where the thoughts and feelings, that arent pumped into The IND reside. These sessions are usually an audible free-for-all.

Wrapping up a year that has seen Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey play many of their highest profile shows to date, release a new album, and return to Europe, the band brings it all back home to Tulsa Oklahoma to celebrate the New Year!
JFJO will ring in the new year along with Callupsie and The Doldrums - in 3D! That's right - VJ Golden Child puts art into motion this NYE with a magical 3D projection show created just for this night!
There will be individual sets from each of the 3 bands. Then at the end of the night the bands will join forces to play the music of Prince, Lionel Richie, and Michael Jackson!
