Founded by the Brothers Stampfel, the inevitable breakups have taken many forms with what seems a revolving door of musicians. And yet, the band has been together for six years, survived numerous recordings (with producers Richard Lloyd, Arun Venkatesh, Julio Pena and Travis Henderson) and live performances (with Longwave, Elefant, The Stills, Orange Park, etc. etc.). Though the band pulls songwriting influences from Calla, The The, The Smiths, Buddy Holly, Neil Finn, Sparrows, Prince and New Order its hard to say they sound like any of these bands. But what the "F", that's who we like.
hey, thanks! it was a weird one as it was our first trip 2 America and we weren't with our full band line up! but thanks, were u in the band that payed b4 us?

The Inevitable Breakups,
Hey, hope you are doing well......i've got a busy couple of months coming up. I'm touring the UK for the first time in June with Kevin Montgomery, and then right back to New York for a show at the Lincoln Center on the 29th with the Texas Playboys.
I hear my name is originally English.........."All-sup"-meaning everyone raise their glasses and drink up!!! It took me 75 years, but i'm finally making there.
Anyway, here is a video about the tour, and with some footage from last year in Crete at Songs in the Sun-Crete--you can see it on youtube here www.youtube.com/watch?v=KWCZkbJM3rg, or by going to my myspace.
Take care, and hope to see you soon.
Tommy
I'm playing a show at the Bitter End on March 12th! The show is part of my charity concert series, benefitting Alex's Lemonade Stand (for childhood cancer research). So, it would be especially great to have you at this show. The more people who come out to show, the more money we'll raise. Plus, it's going to be fun...duhhh (I need to stop watching "Clueless" so much)!
Feel free to let me know if you'll be there.
xo
