"Rock 'n' roll influenced by a bit of funk-inspired soul." Rachel May - Detroit Free Press
The Infatuations are a Neo-Soul band based in Detroit, MI. Heavily influenced by the music of 60's and 70's, The Infatuations play a unique amalgamation of Soul, R&B, Funk and Pop with a Rock twist, creating dance grooves with undeniable pop hooks behind lyrics that are fun to sing along with and easy to relate too. Christian Draheim (guitar) & Marco Lowe (vocals) knew each other from playing music with different bands in Detroit, but it wasn't until January of 2009 when they decided to collaborate on a few ideas to "see what would happen," that they realized they shared the same passion and vision for what would become The Infatuations. Marco knew the perfect drummer, Jeff Lee (from Peoria, IL), who came out to the 1st show and sat in with Christian and Marco for the entire night. The three completed 5 songs and started to record when Christian invited friend and bass player, Aaron Julison into the band to help with the recordings. Longtime friend of the guys, Jimmy McCammon joined the band on Bass, for live shows, and future recordings. The Infatuations EP "January Sessions" was released in April of 2009 and then released digitally in August of 2009. In September of 2009 Rico Grazioli joined as Percussionist and Chris Polite joined as Rhythm Guitarist to complete the current lineup.

Rick Keyes - Music Caravan on Palomar College Radio. “ The Infatuations EP January Sessions was too short! Five songs were not enough I wanted to hear more! However every song on January Sessions was excellent and included softer romantic music like So Sexy to hoppin dance music from Dancin on my Knees. Music Caravan predicts Taste and So Sexy to become Hits!
Listen and enjoy January Sessions until their full CD is released”.
