The Influence – Strathpeffer based three piece power rock with a much bigger sound than the sum of its parts. Guitar, drums, bass, piano, synth and fantastic harmony vocals are all in there yet there are only three of them, definitely worth a look.
(Hi-Arts)
Having scoured the musical landscape for the last few years, The Influence now re-emerge as different people. New songs, new direction, and new trousers mark the start of a new era for the band, who’ve created a chivalrous brand of epic-themed prog rock with influences such as Radiohead, Muse and Pink Floyd. This brave move has encouraged critics to say ‘nothing’ as the band look to begin prowling the gig circuit again. With the worry of the imminent Mayan apocalypse in 2012 the band are likely to pursue their own ‘before I die’ wish. Full stop.
Hello boys and girl (but who?). Thanks for adding me, much obliged gov etc. You have a delightful sound reminiscent of the moons tears gently sifting through the powdered foliage of an effeminate bonsai tree in near-June, also Muse. For any music lovers who wish to see how a hat can be worn both jauntily and solemly, come to my profile page and prepare to bask in your own indifference. I will make heroes of you all.
So, if I was to play a support slot for you guys would I be... under the influence?? Oh.. I'm sorry, I had to say it haha (lame joke). I voted for you to play the belladrum, good luck with that chaps ;) Tom
