We're not playing anymore, but if you really want us to maybe we will. Whatever, I guess. Here's the stuff we used to think about ourselves:
The Influence is a three-piece rock band from Texas. The band first formed sometime around the summer of 2001, since when the original members have completed puberty. In late 2004, Orville Neeley replaced the original drummer, adding a creative force to the band that has pushed their songs way past crap, into the category of good rock and roll. Upon discovering their true talent for catchy-buttrockin-writing (and some touring and more studio work whose results are still secret), the Influence searched myspace for 'the influence' and, well, look at that. there's like four pages of other bands called the influence.
it doesn't bother me too much, except it's getting to the point of being kind of ridiculous and confusing. maybe we should change our name.

Also include: A check or money order, $8.00 per CD. Additional donations are welcome, if you wanna support an independent band who also try to be ok guys most of the time.

you guys put on a great show the other night at rbc. i kept hoping you guys would play "down at the chemist" though. maybe we can play a show together again sometime soon.
