About me:
Stress is the teacher's worst enemy. It comes from everywhere: students, their parents, other faculty and administrators. But wouldn't you agree that it's mostly the students? Many days all you can manage to do once you get home is have a snack and take a long, hard nap. Meanwhile, your students are running and playing outside with their friends, or they are inside laughing, playing video games, and watching movies. They aren't worried about you, and they didn't take a single bit of stress home after the bell rang. That's because they gave all the stress to you! And you took it. Since you have been unaware of how all this works, you have followed this same cycle day after day, year after year. To be the best teacher you can possibly be, this cycle has to stop. The secret to being a stress-free teacher is so remarkably simple that you may have overlooked it.
