These four souls have etched their lives into the very music they write, forming a full and unique sound. The Informant is dedicated to creating music that pushes the limits of modern extreme music, and with their newest line-up, will succeed in doing just that. This is The Informant.
On the merciless edge of insanity, The Informant carves into you, dominating your senses with a plethora of new experience. This quartet is fed up with the same old noise crackling through the estrogen-ridden airwaves; over emotional pentatonic scales with drums slower than the beat of a diabetic man’s heart. With high-art influences such as Ion Dissonance, Between the Buried and Me, The Dillinger Escape Plan, and Psyopus, the excitement and moxie showcased is apparent from the moment the band takes the stage. Each performance is pushed to its limit as every fabric and thread of energy is squeezed from these capricious musicians. The Informant plays with the level and quality of seasoned veterans, demonstrating commitment and earnestness to their diverse and loyal fan base.
