The Ingenues are a band influenced by the Girl Group era of the early 1960s, Garage-Rock, and New Wave. Think The Shangri-Las meet The Breeders, in a movie directed by David Lynch. Their modern twists, juxtaposed with an earnest approach, create a sound sometimes sunny, sometimes eerie, but consistently thoughtful.
