ABOUT THE INTERIORS
Can you say no to a band citing influences such as The Pixies, The Smiths, Wire, Talking Heads, XTC, The Ramones and The Velvet Underground? Thought not. Say hello then to Sheffield's punk-pop outsiders The Interiors. A four-piece fronted by three with vocal duties split equally between Bob Cassidy (bass), Sharleen Fenton (guitar) and Adam Goshawk (guitar) while John Ronson (drums) keeps everything tight at the back.
DELAYS ARE DANGEROUS
The Interiors released their critically acclaimed debut album entitled DELAYS ARE DANGEROUS late in 2008 on Phantom Power Records. It features 16 sizzling punk pop pearls.
WHAT THE PRESS ARE SAYING
"Very highly recommended" Thee SPC
"This blitzkreig of swinging Northern alt Rock is brilliant fun!" Norman Records, Leeds
"A glorious tribute following in the footsteps of some of the greatest bands of the post-punk age" Subba Cultcha webzine
"Les guitares sont un pur plaisir et l’échange de micro entre la miss harpie et le mec excité est un bel atout pour rendre ce déluge de coups totalement jouissif." Tatapoum - French Webzine
"Interiors deserve your attention.....spiky power pop that is hugely listenable. Imagine The Pixies joining ranks with The B-52’s....plenty of targeted energy throughout, with some splendid guitar riffs and entertaining lyrics." Lostmusic.com
