About Intox

What do you get when you cross the raw attitude of NWA with a musical rollercoaster ride of Pharcydes Bizarre ride 2 the pharcyde with a cult followed twisted take on storytelling reminiscent of Pulp Fiction?

The team is INTOX and the result is THE INTOX EXPERIMENT the album.

INTOX consists of 4 members:

SKELITOR
Being an artist is one thing, being a multi-faceted artist with a strong foundation in the business of music is a completely different thing. Toronto-native, Skelitor, a rapper, business school graduate, radio show host and motivational speaker is the latter of the two, is known for injecting his personality into any track he lands on. Skelitors flow hypnotizes the listener while seamlessly painting visuals vocally.

TARIQ HAVEK
Considered to be the word play specialist. Through thought provoking lines laced with irony delivered with the composure of an old soul, Tariq solidifies a spot in what is to soon be a new musical landscape in hip hop. But the talk stops there and actions take over. In addition to writing songs, Tariqs serious work ethics and communication skills landed him an opportunity to work at a budding urban magazine where he has gained useful insight about the business of marketing and promotions.

ROACH ONE
Roach Uno a.k.a Roach the Spont a.k.a Cabeza Cicatriz has been a student of the arts for most of his life. Originally from Argentina Roach One is a perfect example of the multicultural spectrum of sound found in Toronto. Roach's stlye can only be described as dirty his flow and delivery are fierce yet smooth tied together by elaborate rhyme schemes with an almost narrative tone.

S.BANGER
Its not enough that as a hip hop artist he has made history by being the voice behind the theme of the ESPNs hit television series Playmakers which was a highly critically acclaimed television show being broadcasted nationally across the United States and now Canada on Showcase. With a killer flow to aid his grasp on how to construct music that makes you move with out having to sacrifice creativity, S. banger is also out to make sure that the music he creates is of the high caliber to complement the different styles and aspirations of the artists in their camp. Thus creating history once again with Intox and the Intox experiment.

INTOX is set to blaze new trails in how hip hop music is created and perceived by incorporating organic music elements that seamlessly complement the heavy foundation of drums that hip hop is globally recognized for.

The chemistry is audible among the team members who have been friends for over 8 years and it is evident in how effortlessly they complement each other on songs.

INTOX is posed to bring creativity, fun and the art of storytelling back to the hip hop culture while maintaining the edge that separates them from the pack.
