2006/7 had been a busy period for the Invaderz with their own singles titled "Run Deep / From My Soul" released on I.T. in Feb 06 and "Simple Beauty / Mainline" released in Mid 06 along with their Commercial Suicide debut "Ircam" on the Anything and Everything Vol 3 LP hitting the shelves. Yet another debut release followed shortly after for DJ Marky’s label Innerground "Just Cant Give U Up / The Wizard Remix". Their remix of Take a Breath for Klutes Commercial Suicide still in pre-release circulation has been doing great things and is a much anticipated release .
With 2008 underway The Invaderz have been hard at work releasing tracks on their own label "I.T." with the 12’’ The Invaderz - "The Source" (Break remix) / The Invaderz - "So Low" (DJ Marky, XRS and Bungle remix) out in stores now and the 12’’ Watertheme" / "Bad Conscience" by Concept and Shnek also newly released but this is not enough for the guys as the following 12’’ The Invaderz - "32BIT Jungle" / "Cant Explain It" set for release in April so as to keep the momentum going. This is all on the back of their SoulR debut which saw their track "You Bring Me" back to back with Marcus Intalex’ "Lowlife". This after 2 other big label debuts on Innerground and Violence sets the stage for yet another big label debut with the tracks The Invaderz - "Lets Try" / "All The People" forthcoming on Liquid V in the very near future. The Invaderz also see a welcome return to Metalheadz with a 4 track EP near to completion and set for an exclusive digital release on the seminal label. And while doing all this production work The Invaderz have also found time to grab tracks for their label from some other Drum n Bass artists including Phobia, Jubei+Sato, Subwave, Safire and Ki+Jonnyboy so keep an eye and ear out for these names in the Drum n Bass scene in 2008!
As a DJ, Darrell has played in many countries worldwide including most of the USA’s biggest clubs and all across Europe and Brazil. And while their productions often have a very musical vibe, Darrell does not limit himself to that as a DJ and plays cutting edge dancefloor compatible tracks from fellow producers such as Total Science, Spirit, Vicious Circle, Goldie, Break, Subwave, Silent Witness, Klute and Calyx to name a few.
