...A three man (two man, one woman) band, The Invincible Gods comprise [guitarist/vocalist Sean] Korman, his longtime friend Nick Fury on drums, and lead vocalist Candace Keyes- a petite red-headed thunderstorm of ultimate energy and fervor.
Notice there's no bassist?
They don't need one.
Keyes' surprisingly bol, soprano chops can belt through powerful choruses as Korman harmonizes and balances out the space where a bass might otherwise squeeze into the picture.
The choruses are big, bold, and shiny. The songs are packed with moments of glitter and glam and all that is good about music made by people with passion.

Despite the lack of a bassist, with guitar running into both bass and guitar amps, the band played very dynamic less-is-more rippin dance and pop tunes, and kicked out some seriously Pissed At Current Events lyrics that had the small crowd at Asbury Lanes immediately in love, captivated until the end of the set. I must confess that I was a foot tapper and till about late in the set when I just couldn't help it and had to dance like a freak. Not many bands can make me dance like a freak!"

"The Invincible Gods feature two staples of the Street Wave scene, guitarist Sean Korman and drummer Nick Fury of the late, lamented Atomic Missiles, along with singer Candace. Sean runs his guitar through some pedals and both a guitar and bass amp, creating cool bottom tones under his leads which take the place of a bassist. The male/female vocals showcase the deadpan wit and cultural insights that made the Missiles so much fun. There's a definite White Stripes vibe to what they're doing, but Nick is a much better drummer than Meg and the combo of Sean and Candace add a unique presence to the mix. Good stuff." ..
