A massive debut of electronic rock performance, THE INVINCIBLE KIDS self-titled EP, produced by Kid Dakota, sounds like a futuristic punk noir action film that could have been called “Love and the Apocalypse”. With sung-out pop hooks that snare your soul and won’t let go, layered synth and guitar that create a symphonic wall mysteriously huge for a three-man band
& driving dance-rock beats with drum fills so rocking they will literally punch you in the heart.
They have a drum set (Adam) a Fender Jazzmaster (Stos) a microphone & keyboard (Drew) and an iPod full of synthesizers. People have said they sound like: electro punk rock with the audacity to equate W. Bush and Cheney's relationship to “I think his Dick might be crooked”, LCD Sound System, Muse, Metric, an orgasm on the Death Star, and Hot Hot Heat.
The Invincible Kids are three lads realizing their minds are made of the Universe and powered by stars and that life sucks when people are Cruel & Corrupt but with the right girl by your side - we can live forever.
They have a microphone (Drew) a Fender Jazzmaster (Stos) a drum kit (Adam) and an iPod full of electronic compositions produced by the band in the wee hours of the night on laptop computers.
Drew has been: a pianist, a jazz trumpeter, a tap dancer, a music theater nerd, a metal drummer, a poet named Exacto the Phoenix Commando, an electronic performer, a straight-edge emo, a flash web designer, a screenwriter, a tragic hero with a heart of gold and a fist of fury. Lately he’s been playing the cowbell, the tambourine, a Roland synthesizer, and finding out about thermate. He met Stos for the first time at a BART train station in San Francisco when auditioning for his former band, Gentlemen to Evil.
Stos has been: a guitarist, a singer, a music teacher, a visual artist, a model Gemini, a comic book nerd, a teenage SoCal math-punk, a Nintendo fanboy, an L.A. transplant to the tundra, a MIDI/synth junkie, a Peter Griffin impersonator, a heartbreaker, known to blow smoke rings at sexy lingerie / hookah parties and rip mad solos out of the loudest Fender Super Twin amp ever created. Lately he’s been rebuilding his titanium-plated wrist, splattering ink designs on paper and painting digital files. He met Adam when he moved to Minnesota from SoCal to start a band with Drew.
Adam has been: drumming since childhood, watching his dad (Marty) play big band swing and jazz on drums, watching old VHS tapes of Buddy Rich, a track star, a snowboarder, a wake boarder, a McNally Smith grad. He can fix sustain pedal wiring on the fly with duct tape and is skilled with the soldering iron and the iPod rock-stop. He's a fucking Bond driver behind the wheel. Lately he’s been getting his headphones stolen, looking at sexy new trailers to tour to SXSW with, and throwing house parties. He met Drew through producer Jonathan Moehnke of Airborne Creative Studios where Adam is a studio drummer.
If We Are Scientists and The Knack had a love child, with all of the hooks and just enough of the risque' material... it would be The Invincible Kids! I am really excited to see where this band is going to go in the future!

We just recently finished our EP and are so proud, all the hard work payed off! If you have a few minutes please give it a listen and tell us what you think :)
"Exciting, Striding and assured. It has an energy reminiscant of everything that was good about the Klaxons debut album.." - BBC Radio Bristol.
"The overall sound echoes that of Bloc Party but with greater conviction and sophistication. Go see them live if you can." - iTunes review.
It's also available to buy through our website and itunes if you really do like it.
I just wanted to stop by to say hello and give you a little update on what Blood Root Mother is up to! We will be recording an EP of new music in August, and we recently finished recording a live DVD. The DVD is currently unreleased and I actually just saw it for the first time a few days ago. It features the last two performances with Tony Ellis still alive, and some footage from the tribute show we played on the night of his funeral.
There are some cool covers, as well as some NEW music that will be on our upcoming EP. We're very excited about the new music and we'd like to share a sneak peak with you. Here's a video of a new tune called Run Bobby Run:
We have a brand new Split 7 inch out now. Check out a song off of it, Made Anywhere But Here, on our profile and then buy the god damn thing at www.rule22.com peace dave22
