the feeling of sitting down for hours and hours and then suddenly standing up, seeing only white lite, maybe feeling vertigo, dizziness, light headed - you lunge to try to grab on to something in your blindness and vertigo, but alas there is nothing there you fall to the floor, narrowly avoiding an end of table that would have meant a severe concussion - so after listening to the music you will feel good that you have finally managed to get off your ass and avoided any serious injury, go out and buy yourself a strawberry and kiwi smoothie, you deserve it!
The band the IOA has built a reputation on affecting people in what ever way we can. The songs started as the creative mutations of Adam Aslan and Adam Whaley-Tobin in their Dorchester home equipped with an old beat up organ, pedals, guitars, a bass, a melodica, and other melodic and percussive intsrumentation.
At some point over the three and counting years in Dorchester Vocalist/Whisterler - Shawn Westendorf made her way into the band.
With the recent addition of Alexis, Dustin and Dele the band transformed into a melodic and rhythmic exploration focussed on the best part of playing live: the back and forth exchange of energy and feeling.
So what does IOA stand for:
Its an Interactive Name -Its 3 letters you can choose to do what ever you want with. So the IOA is an Interactively Organized Acronym.

One of my dearest friends moved to Boston till december, she's awesome, she's into music, partier, beautiful, super friendly and I'd love if you could get to meet her...
