Shakey was born in wexford in 1986, He grew up in Wexford town,
attended the Wexford CBS, where he finished his leaving cert in 2004,
Then attended Carlow IT for 3 years studying PR and communications.
His interest in Rap music started when he was 13 years old. listening
to Rap legends such as Notorious BIG, Wu Tang, Nas, Jay-z and Rakim to
name a few. His first experience live on stage was with a fellow
wexford MC Rob Kelly, at a teenage disco rob was performing at, Shakey
started off as a beat boxer, then a when he was 15 he started writing
raps.
His first real performance was when he was about 17, performing at
teenage discos in Wexford. When he went to college in Carlow he got
his first regular spot as the resident MC of the music factory, Now
called Club Tao. This is where he met Ray colclough AKA Coco. The two sparked a good working relationship and have done many gigs since then.
Shakey performed in Carlow for a further 3 years, then in February 2007
shakey received his first pieces of recording equipment from his
parents as a Christmas gift, A few days later he had his first song on
bebo, Called Oh Baby and has been recording ever since.
The song got alot of internet attention and Shakey continue to churn out song after song, Shakey released his first mixtape in October, and got great
response, He is currently working on the next album and working with
alot of American producers, Shakey is constantly writng new material
and has a unheard collection of around 30 tracks, That the public will
hear over time.Shakey performed in 2007 on T na G’s Glas Vegas tv show.
And since his first single Irish Party was played on southeast’s Beat 102-103 fm his music career has taken a huge turn for the better. This song has proven to be as popular as the major artist out today.
Shakeys influences are Eminem, Nas, Jay-Z, DMX,
Ludacris and T.I to name but a few.

Nah wasnt really drinking last night. I had to be up early this morning so I didnt want a hangover! I would love to spend the day in bed but unfortunately I have so much stuff to do! What are you upto today? Jxx
yes i do... it cost money to live in L.A. now. lots of people are losing there houses because it too much to pay rent. like where i live it use to be $800.00 per month now it's $1150.00 per month. gas cost almost $5.00 a gallon. buses cost now $5.00 for a day pass and a month pass cost $70.00. around the year 2010 it will cost $8.00 for a day pass. a lot people like me are losing there jobs.

haha I'm glad I dont sound depressed although any longer stuck working in an office then I may start to get suicidal! What are you friends saying?
