The I-ROCK is the place to catch upcoming bands up close and personal, unobstructed by trend-trawling hipsters. What's more, the drink prices won't bleed you dry. The PA is first rate and the bar personnel eschew attitude in favor of friendliness. Come on in and enjoy what Detroit musicians have to offer!

    Tell your freinds not to miss the 2009 Carnival of Chaos June 25-27. It's gonna be the sickest one ever. It features 80 bands, midget wrestling, body suspensions, Miss Pussykatt and the Devil Dolls, lingerie oil wrestling & pillow fighting tournament, wet t contests, exotic body painting, free camping, a stunt team and byob. Also thanks to the 5000+ people who attended the 2008 festival. That was one hell of a party! Tickets are available at Shakedown Street, Purple East or through all the bands.
