Thank you for stopping by and yes indeed we are still together and playing, though rarely! We have a few gigs in September and of course we are rounding out the bill for our annual beloved Halloween bash, a tradition going back over 10 years now! This year Halloween falls on a Friday! Expect a great surprise as the Klaws re-unite with some old partners in Halloween crime... What can we say? We dig Halloween!
As for updates on the Live recording, it's been slow due to several factors... mainly MONEY!!! We don't have any! Zip... nada... NO Dinero! Who knew this recording and mixing business cost money! On top of that Bob has a new baby girl, Rob is in the middle of selling a house & buying a house & I (dave) am in the middle of buying a house for the first time and let's just say I have a few records to pack & move! I love them things but shit they get heavy fast! I'll try and get up another track before I complete my move. Life gets busy! I can't say for certain what the future is for the live material? It may be a while but I hope to release it as a vinyl when the funds appear... Get Hip or more likely Pervasonic in an extremely limited run. At some point it should be available FREE as a digital download with artwork. Money constraints will slow this process down but at least the material is "in the can" so to speak. Not much else to add right now. We look forward to these upcoming shows and writing new material!
My apologies to the band for taking groupie too far last night. Drunk-Mary steps out only once in a great while. Thank you all for being so cool about it.
The show was
phenomenal, as previously stated. How fun to be on the
guest list at the door, (even though I didn't know it. Ma'bad for
slacking on MySpace lately. Been using Facebook a whole lot more.) And
thanks, Dave, for
being more than gracious. It was nice meeting you and appreciate you taking the time for chat and a shot. In much anticipation for the next album
hopefully coming out on vinyl! And...in earnest, please know how much I feel
like this band has uncharted talent; and I'm hoping that this next
album gains it the recognition you are all so well deserving of.
Psyched for the next show! Peace

...could be a bit miffed at the Irving Klaws for not updating their MySpace page and so deceivingly tantalizing her into driving all the way out to Mohawk Place in the middle of the week from Springville...yes Springville...but is happy to report (if you care) that yes, Robin, it was indeed serendipitous. So...fuck it. It's all good. But...pleeeeease update this site so I can see my new fave local band play out soon. [cheshire cat smiles] Thanks!
