Influences
The Minneapolis musicians who have given so much to make our city and its locals move and sway to the beat and rythm. Dont give up...ever.
The name is what it means! The Isles are a group of individuals that all come from different musical backgrounds and experiences, but all enjoying being on the stage and performing their creative expressions and passion which is MUSIC! I don't think you'll see any of them in a cubical anytime soon! With six members from different musical backgrounds like rock, hip-hop, pop, jazz, and punk to name a few. It leads to a diverse combination of rhythms and flows in their eclectic arsenal of tunes. But It's when the lights heat up and the subs start pumping that the true nature of the band starts to unfold. With high energy stage shows you can't help but move along to the ever changing groove. Unique to the band is that there is no one "front person" making each new song and intense anticipation to what may come next! You have to experience it for yourself!

If you dont know, I play for a blues artist named Bernard Allison & we will be performing at the fifth annual Famous Dave's BBQ & Blues Festival that will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2009, from Noon to 10:30 p.m. at Peavey Plaza in Downtown Minneapolis (outdoors at 11th St. and Nicollet Mall)
Bernard Allison is performing on the main stage at 7:00 – 8:30 PM
The Band includes:
