During November, according to Wikipedia (the font of all modern knowledge) it is customary for men in Australia to sport a moustache. November becomes MOUvember. Weird. For us lot at 247 Magazine, November means tons of great gigs, cracking club nights and all sorts of other exciting events. Also this month, we get eco friendly with The Blue Project and talk to Rob and James, two young explorers who are raising awareness of climate change by travelling from the North to the South Pole completely under their own steam! We also caught up with Newton Faulkner, our lovely cover star, and the winners of Best Newcomers at the Cornish Live Music Awards, Unentitled. We’ll be giving local breaks heroes Beatz and Bobz their 10th birthday present this month, and we chased down The Pigeon Detectives, finally catching up with them for a gossip just before they flew off on their UK tour.
