THE JACKALS è l'antidoto allo "pseudo-rock" concepito esclusivamente per fini commerciali. Diversamente da molte rock band, costruite a tavolino, siamo autentici e completamente indipendenti. Portatori sani di groove, ci piace definire il nostro genere Free Rock per la nostra assoluta libertà da mode, cliché e ritmi standard in 4/4. Il nostro stile è costituito da melodie incisive, tempi dispari che amplificano l'irruenza della sezione ritmica e un muro di suono potente e aggressivo che spacca la faccia!
The Jackals - Uomo Comune 2009
I Jackals nascono nel 2003 come duo acustico evolvendosi successivamente in una cover band rock blues di 4 elementi. Dopo due anni di gavetta, suonando nei peggiori locali del varesotto e dell'altomilanese, finalmente entriamo in studio per realizzare il primo album.
2007: pubblichiamo “GROWN FROM INSIDE”, un disco la cui spontaneità e il forte impatto sono “preservati” grazie ad un uso non invasivo della tecnologia. Undici brani contaminati da blues, funk, progressive e folk che ripercorrono la storia del rock dagli anni ’60 ad oggi. Incominciamo a farci apprezzare dal pubblico grazie ad alcune trasmissioni radiofoniche locali e nazionali tra cui Demo (Radio1), Liberi Gruppi (Radio Popolare), Radio Lupo Solitario e OK Musik. Inoltre, il riff di “Take me out here”, diventa un jingle del programma LE IENE.
2008: esce il singolo "UOMO COMUNE" accompagnato da un videoclip. Con questo brano incominciamo a muoverci in una nuova direzione: un sound più moderno e ruvido con testi in italiano. Apriamo il concerto della Treves Blues Band, suonando davanti a 1500 persone.
2009: pubblichiamo l'EP "UN MONDO SENZA EROI", prodotto e registrato in gran parte con mezzi propri, scaricabile gratuitamente dal nostro sito. Con questo lavoro la band si cambia d'abito e trova finalmente la priopria dimensione artistica.

There is currently a search for two types of bands for record label consideration.
*** Note: PLEASE IDENTIFY IF YOU ARE IN GROUP 1 OR 2 IN YOUR RESPONSE. Emails are being reviewed by different representatives.
1. A Pop/Rock/Commercial band with female lead. Band must consist of 2 guitars (Prefer both guitar players to be of lead caliber. However, one lead and one rhythm is acceptable), keyboard/piano, bass, and drums. Lead vocal, followed by backing vocals, in that order, is a plus as it relates to other members of the group. Average age of the band cannot exceed 28 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
2. A Modern Rock band with male lead. Must be a complete band but there are no prerequisites as it relates to the make up of the band. Average age of the band cannot exceed 23 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
