The Jack of Tarts is an audacious fairy tale set in a kingdom called Tartannia where life is centered around the consumption of irresistible tarts. On the day of the annual Grand High Tea, a revolutionary named Agnes (Michael Lynch) endeavors to blow the house of tarts down. The Queen of Tarts (Lance Cruce) and her tart-making son, the Jack of Tarts (Chris Tanner) feel the threat of impending rebellion. Plans get complicated when a brazen hemophiliac named Annabel Lee (Julie Atlas Muz) comes to town and steals the Jack’s heart.
Sixteen original songs, twenty-member ensemble, six person Junkyard Orchestra - one awesome show.
It takes a community to give birth to a modern American musical. Won’t you kindly consider supporting The Jack of Tarts - A Bittersweet Musical?
