Born in the South of Scotland in the late 70’s, we grew up far removed from urban culture with nothing more than a cupboard full of old records, a guitar, a throaty growl and a copy of “Wildstyle” for sanity!
After introducing ourselves to the delights of Blues, R n’ B (the real stuff!), Rock n’ Roll, Soul, Rock, Funk, Punk, Disco, Hip Hop and early House, we looked up just in time to be bombarded by the UK Acid House explosion and the birth of “DJ Culture” – We've never looked back since!!
Over the last 18 years we've rocked out in bands, spun the platters and thumped the controllers, playing an eclectic blend of new wave; nu-rave; punk-funk; electro, house and techno, fusing influences from all types of dancefloor, with a particular fetish for “thumps; whoops; sirens; basslines and filthy-mouthed, ghetto girls like Roxanne Shante”!!!
Martin's work as a sound engineer also sees him at the other end of the "Master Out", at some of Scotland's top dance events including Pressure, Colours and Inside Out.

I was inspired by a gig I played in Belgium a couple of weeks back where the crowd were making this mad droning noise that went down in pitch in time with the music, like they were doing accapella hoovers and i was cutting in and out the tune and letting the crowd go.
"Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" very weird.
so i recreated that sound with the biggest wobbly wibbler of a bass I could make.
Thanks for the kind feedback man! Glad you're digging the sounds, if you need any kind of quality digital canecutters tracks to play out, just let us know.
