As the Electro and Rap styles of Hip-Hop drifted further and further apart, Cozmo D faced a dilemma. He and Newcleus had always championed both styles, but with the over-categorizing of music he recognized that in order to stay true to both he would have to diversify. Much like his inspiration George Clinton had done with Parliament and Funkadelic, he decided to split Newcleus into 2 entities.
Newcleus itself would continue on with the deep, dark and futuristically funky Electro grooves, while the more street oriented Funk/Rap joints would be handled by COZMO D & THE JAM-ON CREW!
My latest batch of new tunes have just been removed from the oven (with oven gloves on of course - they're extremely hot) and are now available for free download at PHATCAMP......
If you like techy-breaky-electro-acid-funk and lysergic chillout grooves (and lets face it - who doesn't?) then you need to report yo' ass to Phatcamp - NOW!!!
