Review by: ~Steve Ekblad--audiogrid.com "The Jared Stewart Band got their start around 1994 in the Billings Montana area. You might not think of Montana as a place to start a blues band, but Jared and his crew prove that you can make a mighty fine blues sound at altitudes of 3000 feet and much higher! High altitude and high energy to boot! This is a very accomplished blues band with a previous release entitled, "No Color In The Blues". Their recent release, "Indian Summer" showcases their hard work in the past years. They rock the blues! I hear quite a few influences in the Jared Stewart Band from blues greats to Redbone! Jared and Band have won many local awards and been claimed the best blues act in Montana. I think we can expand that scope to include a much wider audience. I became a fan at my very first listen." {The Band Today: The Jared Stewart Band Has opened for many national acts such as: Sammy Hagar, Alice Cooper, Lou Gramm of Foreigner, Jimmie Vaughan, Double Trouble, Creedence Clearwater Revisited, Jimmy Cliff, The Jeff Healey Band, Paul Rogers of Bad Company, War, Big Head Todd and the Monsters, The Kentucky Headhunters, Restless Heart, Skid Row, Great White, Rick Derringer, Sugarland, Kenny Wayne Sheppard, Mountain, Pat Travers, Little Feat, Nazereth, Head East, The Kinsey Report, Blackhawk, Elvin Bishop, Tab Benoit, Restless Heart, Jimmy Thackery, Jackyl, Robert Mirabal, Native Roots, Black Oak Arkansas, Savoy Brown, and many others to this very impressive list. The Band has the ability to close shows after the likes of Creedence, Cross Canadian Ragweed, and Joe Bonamassa, Darren Geffre, Devon Allman, Night Ranger, as well as many other national acts. The Bands two recorded albums do not catch the raw power of this amazing band. The Band has also been Named 2002 Band of the year in Montana by the Network Talent/Ent. Services Intl. Also being the most nominated(40), and the most wins(28) in Billings Montana's Local Music history, by The Billings Outpost newspaper. Jared Stewart had also held the title of Best Guitarist since '94-05' But the majority of the accolades would not have ocurred if not for the Fans and Friends of the Band!!!!! Our people Rock!!!!
