The Jeremy Miller Band is comprised of four musicians who collaborate and accomplish a truly unique Texas country sound. Founder, Jeremy Miller, is a passionate singer song writer with an extensive history of creative lyrics and electrifying performances. With a wild fire personality that lights up the crowd, he fronts this band as singer and rhythm guitarist. Sonny Bihl, on lead guitar and harmony vocals, is a crowd favorite too with heavy hitting riffs, catchy licks and jaw dropping solos. Seth Tobin, on bass guitar holds the music strong and steady with his tweaked out country baselines. JMB has played with a number of drummers in the last two years and you're likely to see any number of them show up to jam with the guys. Influenced by a huge spectrum of fellow artists, JMB is identified with bands like Cross Canadian Ragweed, Randy Rogers, Reckless Kelly, Brandon Rhyder, Roger Creager and even Lynyrd Skynyrd. Relying on combined experience and a deep love for the Texas country music scene The Jeremy Miller Band has been known to mix it up with the addition of mandolins, fiddles and the occasional cardboard box base. Look for them headlining around Texas at popular venues like The Genuine Oyster Bar, Executive Surfers Club and Cheatham Street Warehouse.
Jeremy Miller, born and raised in Austin Texas, has been playing music since the age of 13. Jeremy has performed in various bands over the years including rock and roll and heavy metal ensembles. In college he shifted his taste away from heavier influences and began leaning towards Texas Country. A member of Highway 79 in his college years, Jeremy refers to this musical period as a stepping stone to what would become The Jeremy Miller Band. 95% of the songs JMB performs are 100% original.
Sonny Bihl claims to have been raised all over the great state of Texas. Blessed with musically inclined family, he learned guitar from an uncle before the age of 10. By high school he had decided to dedicate himself to the guitar. Sonny has played in several bands over the years, most notably Six Easy Pieces. Being raised in the hill country made him a perfect candidate for Texas country music. Sonny longs for the open road, a touring season and playing great music with good friends.
Seth Tobin came from Belton Texas before settling down in Austin. Seth had a deep interest in the bass during high school that stayed with him over the years. He has been in several bands including The Vo/Sots in which he played bass and also sang. Influenced by heavy metal and classic rock Seth bends the traditional chords of a Texas country song into something progressive and inspiring. He looks forward to diving further into country music to see how far he can take it.
