I've been blessed to be able to travel the world and perform for millions of people and it never gets old. So, i hope and pray is that some of you unsign performers get that same chance.

About me: Yep, I'm the suited and always well-dressed Jerome Benton. You guys know me mostly as a backup dancer and comedic antics to various musical acts. Not to toot my own horn but I'm the inspiration for today’s "hype man". I've been seen in music videos by Janet Jackson and Prince, but I'm most known for my association with years of performing with “The Time” with lead singer Morris Day. Damn, I almost forgot I've had roles in such films like Purple Rain and Under the Cherry Moon with childhood friend Prince.
Alright, I'm creating my own show. Why wai for them to do it for me, lmao. It's a unique late-night style with a combination of humor, talk and entertainment. So what should I call it? What the hell I'll call it “The Jerome Benton Show”. Damn Nukka, I think that has a nice ring to it. What do you guys think? It will be considered by many to be a “Talk Show”, with an in-house band with Musical Director (to be announced). Many of the world’s most popular celebrities, musical guests and newsworthy names will take the couch at the “The Jerome Benton Show” a priority stop on their publicity rounds. The result will be a unique and humorous look at today’s pop culture. I'm looking forward to getting to know my audience. I remember that U'all came with Sheila E. back in 2004 or 2005. I had a great time then. That was the 1st time that I have been a Morris Day & The Time & Sheila E. concert believe that.

Sup dude. It was under the Cherry Moon that really made me a Jerome fan. U said U might reply if we leave a comment instead of a msg so Ill give it a try. One time I sent Tommy Barbarella an email & he replied with everything I asked him about. Now Prince on the other hand, I dont even think he talkes to himself.

2. I want to be a pastor, can u give any advice on being @ the right place @ the right time. Or something usefull in that respect?
3. How did the ideas for ur charicter (sorry my speeeeeling) come about?
4. Can U give me a basic idea of what the real Jerome is like?
5. Many people say there working relationship with Prince is or was a love/hate relationship. Can you tell me anything on ur experience past or present?
