Singer-songwriter, folk brass, Enya, Loreena McKennit sweet voice meets a raucous band of brass players having a great time playing joyous latin jazz, sounds from around the world with an Irish twist that only the Jester's Court can have!
Jennifer Jester has been working on the "Jester's Court" project for the past 5 years. It all started when she attended CalArts for her Master's degree in euphonium. She realized that the things that were most important to her were singing, dancing, drumming, and playing the euphonium! Ever since she has been writing original songs, music, and experimenting with the exciting sport of audience participation.
The Jester's Court is an ever morphing group that is as versitile as two people and as cumbersome as 15 people depending on the setting. For small venue settings, Jennifer likes to have a group of 3-5 people, and for large parties with drumming, and dancing included, the more the merrier!

wow i'm so hyped! okay...you ever notice those offers shootin around? persionally, literally i thought it had to be a hoax..., but i filled one out the other day, for free $500 credit to shop @ Macys, and surprisingly it did work i can't believe it. you should go here and get one too, you see...?
Jennifer - it's great to see another euphonium player! I started when I was eleven and entered the British contesting system here, where I ended up playing in the Royal Albert Hall Championship Section Finals twice, came 2nd at the Grand Shield in Manchester, played in the SCABA Champion Quartet and won various slow melody and air-varie solo contests. ...but it all seems a long time ago now.
I teach, conduct and compose now. Last year my band became Wessex Champions and I won best conductor of the day, and we qualified for the finals and came third nationally.
....that's far too much about me, but there's none of it on Myspace and I wondered if you'd be as pleased to find another euph player as I am.
It is wonderful to hear you play. I wonder if you have recorded any other tracks, it would be great to hear some more of your playing.
If ever I can be any help at all, please ask - I'd honoured and delighted
I was just informed at the taping today that The Megan Mullally Show with me in it
will actually air Monday October 23 at 4PM ( and not this Wednesday)
I had a blast singing on top of my lungs, and Megan was an absolute doll!
Sweet and warm and leaning her head on my shoulder, saying "I'm coming,
I'm coming, I'm here!" as I finished the Norwegian Cattle Call. Very cute:)))
I will send a full update as soon as I know the details!
Greetings from Seattle.
Your euphonium version is silky smooth. Yum!
