    Hey there friends, family and fans- You may have heard the extremely sad news that Touch & Go is closing their doors. After about 28 years of being the best record label on earth, they have been forced out of business by this fucked up economy and the pathetic sales of CDs and records. They will remain as a "back catalogue label" only. They are, however, still going to be releasing remastered reissues of Pure, Head, Goat, Liar and Down on CD and vinyl in September. I have heard these remasters and I can tell you straight up - they are a tremendous improvement - remastering by our boys Steve Albini and Bob Weston. These reissues have all kinds of extra shit to look at and read. T&G are also putting out a nine single package of 7" vinyl by us in a fancy sort of shower curtain looking thing in a couple months. This myspace page has always been run by a wonderful feller named Josh who worked at T&G. Last week he gave me the password to this page and has handed it off to me. On Christmas day of 2008, I started an official page for The Jesus Lizard. That page is the ONLY place you can really trust for accurate, straight-?from-?the-?horses-?mouth information regarding The Jesus Lizard. Soon I'd like to close this tribute page down and only have the one I started last December.
